We offer all potential customer's a Free initial Assessment, this applies to all our packages and includes Gift certificates.
The assessment are to assess how much research required. In the rare instance that we can't help, then you know straight away.
Our hourly rate is £20.00 per hour plus any expenses we incur, such as Birth, Marriage and Death certificates (currently £9.25 a copy) and extra paid searches. We don't charge an additional cost on what we pay for them.
Out of the box packages
- The base package is Basic Research Programme, which will follow one family line and siblings back to the mid 1800's. Prices start at £199.00 Inclusive of VAT.
- The intermediate package is the Standard Research Programme, which will follow all the main family lines including siblings back to early 1800's and earlier if possible. Prices start at £299.00 Inclusive of VAT.
- The high end package is the Advanced Research Programme, which will follow all main family lines as far back as possible. We will endeavour to research every family link and document this. Prices start at £499.00 Inclusive of VAT.
All these programmes still include full bound narrated documentation, any photographs, certificate's (separate cost for each original Birth or Marriage Certificate, presently £9.25 per copy), Census reports, Family Tree/Pedigree Chart and any other found information which will be sent as a Fully Bound Paper Document plus a DVD Digital format.

If you may pay by cheque (Sterling) for the full amount or agreed part payment (Payable to A Firth) and post to us at The Willows, Long Lane, Cawood Common, Selby. YO8 3RY, UK. Please also enclosed your full contact details with Telephone Number, Email etc if you haven't done so already with us.
Postage
Postage costs are dependant on the nature of the work undertaken. For a full family tree presentation folder (including source notes) or a wall chart, they are always sent Recorded Delivery. The price varies as its based on the weight and size of the individual package and we will only know how much it will be, at the end of your research.
Free postage (within the UK) and delivery of your family tree and all source notes if you spend more than £150 with us.
Placing an Order
Please see our Assessment Form where you can complete the necessary information that we need to start your research. Once we have received this, we will contact you prior to completing your assessment.
Once this has been completed we will inform you of our findings. If you decide that you would like us to continue your research, we will send you a written summary of the work that we will undertake via e mail. When you have confirmed your order and made the agreed payment, we will then continue your research.
